This afternoon we had a chance to get together with Willow's sweet friend Mckenzie, who we haven't seen enough of this summer! Willow was a little bombarded with her hugs at first, but hugged right back after getting warmed up. Then they proceeded to chase each other around (including a couple "tackles"), play in the dirt, smell the flowers, splash in puddles, and play in the sandbox. It was fun to see them play together! It was the first time lately that I felt that I was able to have an actual conversation with another mom without chasing Willow down or telling her to stop getting into something! Yeah!!
