She's on the move!
Willow hasn't shown too much interest in walking the last couple weeks, but surprised us this afternoon while Skyping with Gramma and Grampa Seth. Here's how it progressed...
Curls
Willow's "Pippi" curls have turned into tight little ringlets as her hair has gotten longer. Most days her hair looks like a jumbled mess, but with today's humidity they were irresistible little ringlets. Here are my best attempts at taking pictures of her on the move:
(the arm-out-photos didn't turn out too bad)

Dancing Queen
Willow's dancing began as a little knee-bounce while standing (no video yet) but has evolved into body-dancing. We find her to be quite cute and irresistible!
Again, couldn't decide on one favorite video, so you get TWO!
Drinking
So, I'll admit that once Willow began drinking successfully/independently from a sippy cup, I completely forgot about exposing her to drinking from a regular cup. We've started recently and she thinks it's quite entertaining. Last night, though, she apparently was more interested in talking than swallowing. We predict that she'll continue to be our dinnertime entertainment for years to come.
Again, couldn't decide on just one video...

Spring Break
We had a great week in Myrtle Beach, SC relaxing for spring break. This may make for the longest post in "Watching Willow" history!
Even though the water in the pool was COLD, this innocent kicking...
...turned into this craziness!!
(and she hasn't stopped making her "beluga" noise either...it's become her new "laugh." sigh)
Willow also loved the beach! The water was very cold, but that didn't seem to stop her interest!
We're still in the everything-goes-in-the-mouth stage.
Willow enjoyed crawling on the beach, mostly after sea gulls. One time she crawled (with Chris) about 200 yards away from our towels chasing down a sea gull, then cried when it flew away.
I think Willow said "Pick me up." Chris thinks she said "Elbow." What do you think?
Willow taught herself to clap! We'd tried quite a few times, but she'd never want to open up her fingers. I guess it was just a matter of time. Now she claps for everything!
While we were in our condo, one of Willow's favorite things was to play on this blue chair, which we later named it her "throne." She's also recently started playing peek-a-boo where SHE moves, not the adult playing with her. That was one of her favorite things to do on her throne.
Willow enjoyed a few walks around the resort and on the beach in her backpack.
We loved spending the week with Morgan, Jason, and Cadence! It was great to hang out during the day (Willow LOVES Cadence!) and then spend the evenings talking and playing games. We're looking forward to another Seth-Murray vacation!
Happy Easter!
New Carseat
Our first carseat had a weight limit of 22 pounds and since Willow was well on her way to that amount at her 9 month appointment, we decided it was time to upgrade. She's had it for a little while now, but we just got around to taking a picture. Here's her new "ride." Won't be long until she can turn around!
