Nana and Grandpa

Willow soaked up lots of attention from Nana and Grandpa during Grandpa's Spring Break last week. They stayed on the go between playing in the backyard, parks, the Children's Museum, and a Fun Fest. Willow impressed us with her bravery at the Fun Fest with the rides she wanted to go on! 

It took her over a year to build up enough courage to ride the train at the Children's Museum, but she had no hesitation about this ride?!

Ballerina

We are grateful to have a friend from church let us borrow clothes for Willow. She tried on this ballerina leotard the other night and was in HEAVEN! She could've played all night if we'd let her!

This is right before she jumped off! Thanks to dada's tiger-like reflexes, she was caught before  crashing to the ground!

March Snow Day

We had a pleasant surprise today - SNOW! Willow woke up just in time to play as the HUGE flakes came down - 1-2" is enough to cancel school around here! It was melted by lunch time but fun to play in none the less.

Abstract Thinking

Willow is doing really well learning her letters. It's hard to say that she knows all of them, because she won't tell you all of them, out of order, in one sitting. I'm pretty sure she's close to knowing all of them though. I love how her little mind works and recognizes things in abstract ways. I mentioned it this past summer with the letter C, but recently she recognized the letters L and T (upside-down!) out of garland that fell off the handrail going up the stairs. She even put two clementine pieces together and called it an O. =) 

Weekend Guest

We enjoyed a brief visit with Aunt Kim last weekend. Sure wish she lived closer!!
