From the back seat
Completely out of the blue:
Willow: Forward and back are opposites.
Reading off her sippy cup:
Willow: T-H-E-R-M-O-S spells "cup."
On the way to work with Chris:
Willow: What street are we on?
Chris: Washington.
Willow: George Washington was the first president.

Cow Appreciation Day
We always find time to appreciate the cows on Chick-fil-A's annual Cow Appreciation Day. We can't pass up free Chick-fil-A! Willow's outfit from last year still fit!
"Did someone say 'Free Chick-fil-A'?"
Willow is super-excited about free Chick-fil-A!
July 4th Weekend
We spent another fun July 4th weekend with Aunt Kim and Uncle Chad. We had fun blueberry picking, going to the pool, hiking around a lake and having a picnic lunch, seeing their new house (Willow was even allowed to paint part of a wall!), playing at a couple parks, and playing around the house. It was a great time!
Guilty!
Owen's first blueberry picking experience.
She keeps going...and going...and going..
Proud of her writing:
(Daddy helped with 8, 9, and 10)
Willow supervised Daddy and Uncle Chad as they dug footers for the future back porch.
Our awesome fort:
I love that whenever we climbed into the fort, Willow said, "Now we need a book to read!"

Owen: 3 months
Wow! I feel like I can just copy and paste the two month update =) Things are about the same sleep wise - preferring to be held or in the Ergo and not falling asleep as easily. We're usually getting an 8-hr stretch at night now. Loves to smile and coo. Enjoys standing up quite a bit. Adores his sister. Gaining more strength in his head/neck/back. Isn't too fond of tummy time. His favorite location for his hands is in his mouth - both at the same time if possible. All around happy little man unless he's overtired or on long car rides (ugh).
Here are his stats (14 weeks):
Weight: 15 lb 5 1/2 oz. (75%ile)
Length: 25 1/2 inches (85%ile)
Head Circum: 16 1/2 inches (85%ile)
