It was a beautiful Saturday morning, so we ventured out with Nana and Grandpa to go strawberry picking. On the drive out we fantasized about all the yummy treats to make with strawberries (strawberry bread, strawberry cobbler, strawberry shortcake, strawberries on angel food cake, strawberries on cereal, strawberries on icecream, etc.). Willow enjoyed sharing a strawberry smoothie with Aunt Kim on Mother's Day, so we can even try making our own strawberry smoothies!
Since there are no kids under 12 allowed in the fields, Nana entertained Willow while we picked strawberries. It's going to be a looooong time before Willow can actually enjoy strawberry picking at that location!
