Spring Break

We had a great week in Myrtle Beach, SC relaxing for spring break. This may make for the longest post in "Watching Willow" history!

Even though the water in the pool was COLD, this innocent kicking...

...turned into this craziness!!

(and she hasn't stopped making her "beluga" noise either...it's become her new "laugh." sigh)

Willow also loved the beach! The water was very cold, but that didn't seem to stop her interest!

We're still in the everything-goes-in-the-mouth stage.

Willow enjoyed crawling on the beach, mostly after sea gulls. One time she crawled (with Chris) about 200 yards away from our towels chasing down a sea gull, then cried when it flew away.

I think Willow said "Pick me up." Chris thinks she said "Elbow." What do you think?

Willow taught herself to clap! We'd tried quite a few times, but she'd never want to open up her fingers. I guess it was just a matter of time. Now she claps for everything!

While we were in our condo, one of Willow's favorite things was to play on this blue chair, which we later named it her "throne." She's also recently started playing peek-a-boo where SHE moves, not the adult playing with her. That was one of her favorite things to do on her throne.

Willow enjoyed a few walks around the resort and on the beach in her backpack.

We loved spending the week with Morgan, Jason, and Cadence! It was great to hang out during the day (Willow LOVES Cadence!) and then spend the evenings talking and playing games. We're looking forward to another Seth-Murray vacation!

"Hey Cadence - Have you ever seen a blue horse upside-down? Check this out!"
"Wow! Mr. Jason makes pancakes the size of my head!"

We hope you girls like being outside together - that's what our plan is for the whole summer!!

Cadence sees the Atlantic for the first time!

We stopped by a neighborhood park to play. Willow was absolutely enthralled with a little girl (maybe 2 or 3 years old) who was also playing. Willow tried to do everything that she did, though I don't think she was as crazy about the slide.
