Siblings

It's harder to get on the computer with two kiddos these days. I think I'll be tempted to label most blog posts as "Random" since they'll likely be an accumulation of a few weeks' pictures. Oh well...

We're not quite ready for the Bumbo seat yet...

Big sis Willow shows him how it's done:

You leave the room for 2 minutes to come back and find your 3-yr old has "handcuffed" your 2-month old. Sigh...

She still insists on being inches away from his face...
What's old is new?

Owen's favorite thing lately: (double-click on the video to make it full-screen...not sure why it cuts off the right side of the videos on the blog)

Willow's "fancy" accessories. Mommy swallowed her pride and even took her to Target with all of her accessories on!

Willow has shown a greater interest in writing letters lately!

Duet

Turn up the volume and enjoy Willow and Daddy's duet of "St. Judy's Comet" by Paul Simon (previously requested by Willow as "St. Julie's Vomit"). Chris sang this to Willow MANY times at all hours of the day to calm her crying as a baby (often lulling me to sleep as well!), so it's sweet to hear her sing it with him. I think I could listen to this all day...

Random

I've recently become addicted to adding filters to pictures I've taken on my phone using Instagram. I've also recently discovered a Blogger app to help me get these photos off my phone easier! Woohoo!
We've been enjoying a lot of cuddle time!
It's harder than you think to get TWO kids smiling at the same time!
Curiosity
We love the water park!
A full lap!
Homemade strawberry fruit roll-ups on the front porch. It's summertime!!

Willow: Quotable Quotes

Willow: Mommy, my tummy hurts.
Mommy: Does it feel hungry, or like you need to go to the bathroom?
Willow: It feels like it needs to eat chips.

Willow: My bottom hurts. (Do we have a hypochondriac here?!?!?)
Mommy: What does it feel like? (Not sure what else to ask!!)
Willow: It feels like a traffic jam. (?!?!)

I'm the big sister. I will help Owen. I will pick him up and put him on my shoulder to calm him down.

Can I may have __________________ please? (We're working on asking nicely and she's including ALL nice words...)

Can you sing "Saint Julie's Vomit?" (St. Judy's Comet by Paul Simon)

WWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! (The tantrum [not always limited to one] we hear daily...sigh...)

No denying they're siblings...

Owen 2 mo
Willow 2 mo

Amusement Park

We took advantage of being state residents and got season passes to a local amusement park. They have a lot of great rides for "beginners" like Willow, a couple water play areas, and fun shows to watch too! We've enjoyed going a couple times before schools let out and before the unbearable humidity comes!

Not so interested in talking to Big Bird or any of his friends.

Super-fun net paths to walk on!

Willow playing the "water drums." (You've gotta stop every once in a while to "people watch.")

We were not successful in getting her to multi-task and eat lunch while watching this show.

Thankfully Owen did this most of the time:
