Solids!

Step One: Put on an adorable bib and look all grown up.

Step Two: Sit in a "big girl" seat at the table.

Step Three: Open mouth, insert spoon.

Step Four: Savor the taste of rice cereal.

Step Five: Say "Move over Mommy. I can do this by myself!"

Life is good

I wish you could hear her little laugh. It's the cutest thing in the world!
We can't seem to get enough of that smile!

Tooth #2 busted out today!

Welcome Cadence Emery Murray!!

Cadence Emery Murray (aka Willow's new best friend) was welcomed into the world this morning! We were so excited to meet her at the hospital tonight! Willow looks like a giant next to her. It's hard to remember Willow having been that small! Cadence was born with a full head of dark hair, too!

Swaddle schmaddle

For the longest time, Willow wasn't able to fall asleep without being swaddled (and bounced...my knees still ache!). She's been busting her arms out of the swaddle for a while now so I think she might have outgrown needing it. I took this picture while checking in on her after she put herself to sleep this morning (YEAH!!!) and thought it was humorous how pointless the blue swaddle blanket was. Freedom!!

Brainwashed

Willow hasn't decided yet if she's a Bills or Bronco fan yet but Chris thought putting her in this Bills outfit might give them some luck against the Patriots tonight.

First Tooth!

Yep...just over 4 months and already breaking out teeth! She's been "Droolia Goolia" for a month or so and has been putting toys in her mouth and chewing on our and her fingers, but we thought SUREly it was too early for teeth! Wrong (again and again and again it seems...). I've seen pale white by her lower gums for a few weeks and now the lower right tooth has busted through! After 23 attempts for a good photo, I finally got one. Here is the journey...

First I tried taking one while Chris held her, but she was too fascinated by the light.

I tried later with her in her bouncy seat...

"Hah...she thinks I'm going to show her my tooth."

Blindly aiming, hoping for some good luck...

"Hehe...she's still trying!"

I decided to take things into my own hands...
.
GOT IT!

Who is letting her grow up so fast??
