Opening and Closing

Apparently opening and closing things is Willow's new favorite activity. In addition to the front gate, Willow now enjoys opening and closing the Puffs container. I'm actually VERY impressed that she's able to get the lid back on! This provided us a good 15 minutes of entertainment this evening.

Discovery Learning

While we watered the flowers in the front yard, Willow enjoyed opening and closing the front gate...over and over and over...

Turned Around

One perk of turning one is being able to turn the car seat around! I think Willow kicked the whole drive to the park this morning, enjoying the leg room!

Ponytail

Willow's hair is long enough to put in a ponytail, though she can hardly sit still long enough for me to do it. I took advantage of her being distracted by food to try for the first time. A couple days later I pressed my luck by trying for pigtails (very foolish to even think that was a possibility - she definitely made her opinion known).

Birthday Party

Willow thoroughly enjoyed soaking up attention from both grandmas, grampa, and Great Aunt Linnie during her birthday weekend.
