Happy New Year/Tooth

We've been expecting Willow's upper teeth to come in any time now, so we were quite surprised to notice that a 3rd bottom tooth has broken through!

You might be a redneck if...

you bundle up your infant and go outside in 30-degree weather to watch a tree be cut down.

She actually found it very entertaining though!

We put in a request for a tree outside of our fence to be removed by the city a LONG time ago. Its branches have been falling off for a few months now and one branch even broke our neighbor's car windshield. We haven't been able to park under it so Chris has been parking across the street. Anyways, we were thankful to see they finally came to remove it! Even our neighbors on both sides came out to watch (how ghetto are we?)!

It got a little loud (and cold!) so we watched from the upstairs windows. Even Alli cat wanted to watch (lower left in picture).

Now we have a better view of the boarded-up house across the street...awesome.

More Giggles

Willow thought it was HYSTERICAL watching her daddy and grampa play baseball in the living room.

Snow!

The storm that dumped 8" of snow in VA was on our heels as we drove north to PA on Friday night. We haven't missed out on Willow's first snow, though, as it's been snowing every day since we arrived!

Willow wasn't sure what to think of snow at first

but decided that maybe it's ok.

At Grampa and Gramma's

Willow's week in PA so far...

reading books with Gramma

trying out some of Daddy's old toys

destroying Gramma's stick-on manger scene

trying to stand

exploring some awesome reindeer slippers from Grampa's friend

good ol' lap time with Great Uncle Don

deciding Second Cousin Tug is ok if he feeds me Cheerios

and opening my first Christmas gift! (be patient with this one)
